Create + Connect: An Art Journey To Wellbeing, is a 4-hour workshop that will include exploring the relationship between colour and emotions using paint. It will also involve a visualisation activity to lead the children into their inner ‘peace garden’ followed by Art journaling how this looks for them using paint, coloured pencils, magazine cutouts and stickers. Some light breathing techniques and physical movement will be used to create a calm atmosphere, as well as some games and group sharing to ensure plenty of laughter and connection. The workshop will end with creating mini personalised ‘gratitude boxes’ so children can be reminded of all the things that bring them joy.
